Welcome

Plympton & Ivybridge District runs along the southern corridor of Dartmoor and has 6 scout groups. All of these groups contain Beaver, cub and scout sections. The district also has a scout fellowship. Network is county run and is split into area across Devon County.

Geographically the district is one of the biggest scout districts in Devon County.

In the UK, Scouting is organised through The Scout Association and has a clear purpose:-

To help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as Members of their local, national and international communities

The Scout Association provides adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for 400,000 young people aged 6-25. Internationally, we have over 28 million young people enjoying the benefits of Scouting across 216 countries.
